  3. The move was ultimately ok with only a few small bits of damage, but the team didn’t work all that well together. Despite me telling everyone at Kent, during every interaction, that the delivery will be complicated and difficult, the team allocated for the job included one inexperienced person and he didn’t appear to be receiving any guidance. Several boxes marked for “top Stowe” were under 2 boxes of books! Some artwork boxes were placed upside down to arrows, risking scratching of contents. Delivery team also arrived late creating a knock on effect which meant Finishing Touch couldn’t be utilised as well as possible. Team leader didn’t appear to want to be there, complained about the need to use fire stairs for some items & suggested that we will be charged more because the lift is small and can’t fit some larger items. We went to the trouble of photographing the lift & giving measurements prior, so this was not appreciated. Definitely not as smooth as our experience with Kent a couple of years ago when we moved into Chiswick. Regards. Kathy

  4. We have made a few moves over the years internationally and locally and Kent is at the top for the movers we have used. I appreciated Rob coming out to our home the day of the move to introduce himself. He noted to his employees they were doing a good job. The movers were polite, professional, careful and always asked us if they were unsure about something. They were friendly and happy to oblige when asked to help with even small little extras. I was pleased how quick and efficient they were but never compromising how they treated our contents. Well done and happy to recommend them.

  5. The customer service from Kent Removalists was wonderful. The 2 x ladies and gentleman that came and packed my house were wonderful to deal with and did an exceptional job. The removalists took a lot of time and everything was done to a very high standard. I will definitely use Kent if I move again. Highly recommended.

I was highly satisfied with the service provided by Ziegler Relocation (in Belgium) and Kent until a couple of days before the delivery of my goods, when Kent requested that I pay an additional $700 fee (on top of the total relocation invoice that I had already paid two months prior, and which I was assured included all costs, fees, levies, taxes, etc). This was apparently an oversight by Ziegler Relocation, who instructed Kent to charge me the additional fee. Secondly, when my goods were delivered, the contents of all boxes containing clothes and linen were haphazardly emptied into a huge pile onto our bed. At the very bottom of this pile were the contents of the special “hanging wardrobe” including expensive formal wear (e.g., suits, evening dresses). These items were unfortunately crumpled and creased because of all the other clothes, linen, etc. being thrown on top of them in a chaotic manner. Given that I paid extra especially to have these clothing items transported in a hanging wardrobe to prevent them from being damaged, crumpled, or creased, I was frustrated to have them thrown on the bottom of a massive pile of clothing during delivery. I suggest you discuss this with your delivery crew.
