Does Kent Removals & Storage offer work-from-home flexibility?
Yes, however, it is dependent upon the position in question, and the requirements around the role. As advocates for a work-life balance and remote working, we are one of the first major companies to adopt new technologies and put systems in place for employees to comfortably work from home if it suits both the role, and their personal situation. So, even if you live in a remote area of Australia – we still encourage you to apply!

What is the interview process like at Kent Relocation Group?
The interview process at Kent Group is generally relaxed and conversational across the board, no matter what type of job you are applying for. While some mid-senior level positions may require a little extra homework ahead of the interview and preparing case study findings, other jobs will require no interview preparation at all.
Keep in mind that while qualifications, presentations, and an impressive employment history certainly ‘wow’ us – it’s not what matters most. We also care about the human being behind the role, the value you can bring, and the skills you can transfer across. We want to hear your story.
Do I need prior experience in the removals & storage industry to apply?
Not at all. In fact, we encourage those without prior industry experience to apply as we find individuals outside of the industry bring with them a rich, new perspective that can challenge and improve the way things are done at Kent. If you have the right, proactive mentality for the tasks at hand, can demonstrate your transferable skills, have the willingness to underdo relevant training, the required background checks, and can obtain the relevant certificates and qualifications wherever needed – then we welcome you to apply!
What is the annual leave policy like?
Kent Relocation Group abides by the fair work requirements in Australia. Full-time and part-time workers are entitled to a minimum of 4 weeks of paid annual leave for every 12 months worked. Leave begins accumulating from the first day the employee works, and they can take leave as soon as they accumulate it. For all Fair Work reading, please visit the Ombudsman website.
Can I choose to work part-time?
Yes and no. For many roles at Kent Group, that is certainly a viable working option, and one you can discuss further with your manager. However, other positions may have different requirements that wouldn’t suit part-time hours. At the end of the day, we value employee well-being and satisfaction, and appreciate that sometimes personal life circumstances can influence work commitment, so there is always room to re-evaluate your contract – just keep the communication lines open.
